The Hungarian Association of Adult Education Institutes
) was founded in 1992. It has about 200 member - institutes (providers, enterprises, vocational schools, universities, training centers, NGOs, etc.) nationwide. Nowadays it is the leading non-profit professional organization for the representation of the interest of Hungarian adult education. It’s most important tasks are helping the work of establishments that care for adult education standing aside from the school system, and facilitating the cooperation between the government and the institutional sphere. The main activity of the association is to promote the common professional work, to help the quality assurance, to collect and share the relevant information on the field of adult education.
FVSZ as associated partner is involved of this project topic. Firstly we want to know about the method, which works in Italy and more European countries very well. We would like to explore the possibilities in it, and to compare with the Hungarian frameworks of adult education and voluntary work system. After that, we try to adopt into the Hungarian circumstances. After the common developing the new modules we provide them for Hungarian volunteers and ask the policy makers for study this system to establish it to the Hungarian National educational frame.
As the current project responsible people on the FVSZ
- Dr. Akos Zsuffa is the Chairman of the FVSZ. He is deeply committed to Lifelong Learning idea.
- Mr. Otto Laszlo Nagy is the member of the board and co-founder of FVSZ and working in Adult educational field for 30 years. He was participated in many international (Leonardo) and national developing projects as well. He is also deeply committed to voluntary work.
- Mr. David Csernak is a professional translator and he is dedicated to voluntary work for many years.
- Mr. Tamas Ratosi is responsible for the financial part of the project in FVSZ.
