IDP European Consultants

IDP is a dynamic service company assisting a wide range of clients from the public and private sectors with tailored consulting and training services on EU funding mechanisms and programmes.

Established in 1996 by a group of practitioners expert in EU affairs and active in Brussels since 1991, IDP assists a variety of clients ranging from large multinational corporations to small businesses in monitoring EU opportunities and accessing EU funding programmes managed centrally by EU institutions and agencies, such as the Framework Programme, Lifelong Learning Programme, Life+, Culture, Daphne, etc. The company provides tailored consulting services also to Universities and Research Centers on access to EU funds and grants.

Since 1999 IDP developed a core competence in the provision of high quality training on project financing, project management and EU funding mechanisms. IDP provides training to professionals and executives from both the public and private sectors. In addition, IDP provides specialised training and consulting services to the Third Sector at large, i.e. Not for Profit and Non Governmental Organsations. The combined training services of IDP amount to the delivery of an average of 1.200 hours of training per year to an average of 500+ trainees.

In addition, IDP provides a five-day Master Class held in Brussels three times a year on how to leverage EU funding opportunities through EU Programmes. The Master Class is a practical training that builds on IDP’s direct experience in the preparation of solid proposals for EU funding.

Partners of IDP have more than 20 years of international experience in the preparation, management and supervision of large international projects. IDP is uniquely positioned to providing high quality consulting and training services on EU funds and grants thanks to its consolidated direct experience in EU funding and project management, coupled with the presence in Brussels since 1991.

In the REVEAL Project, IDP leverages its direct experience and knowledge of the Third Sector and volunteering. IDP provides training to volunteering and not-for-profit organisations and has a thorough understanding of the capacity building dimension of the Third Sector at large.

One partner of IDP worked extensively on finance and private sector development issues and brings in the project the specific expertise on financial modeling.

Incorporated in Italy, IDP has offices in both Italy (Pescara) and Brussels.
